no real reads yet (few orbits in, but seems TAG based on use of position and aggression.)

he leads for pot fairly quickly. anyone raise here? i ended up calling.

edit: at 4am while writing a paper, i have trouble reading. i didnt see the board double paired, so i would just call. id still sorta want to raise though :/

Thing is he has to have a hand that can valuebet this strong that you are ahead of. I don't see that from a tag here. Is he making this bet with 88? I doubt it. Just call..

im not sure how you were able to physically stop yourself from instaraising the flop. as played i think the river is a call.

also is raising A2s still considered to be bad or not?

Depends on the table IMO. At most tables I wouldn't but if it's mostly nitty players to my left and a fish or two in the blinds I definitely will open it UTG.

Fold pf with no reads on table. It just gets you into too much trouble when only 100BB deep.
Raise the flop to $20. You should have plenty of FE and if called you have your hearts. You can easily drop it to a raise here too as his range is surely narrowed to {overpairs, 2 pair, sets}.
Calling here is even pretty tight. I don't push here though. It's only another $30 that he will call with whatever he bet with. However, I don't think your that far ahead of his range. By the river, a call is very marginal so why make it a call for $72 instead of $42??????

not raising flop is pretty gay. i would shove the river, i dont think hes full here v often.

You can't fold to a raise against this range. We have 12 clean outs and 3 aces that might be good. With ~45% equity we'll have too good a price to fold.
