I like checking flop relatively often. It saves you from a c/r, keeps the pot small with a mediocre hand and makes your hand a lot harder to read, as opposed to betting flop and checking turn for pot control which is basically flipping over your cards.

First of all I like folding this pre flop but that's kind of besides the point.

I also bet this flop like 80% of the time.

The question is: what kind of hand does the villain have that he's checking the flop here, and what does he put you on that you checked behind.

This is kind of a bad board to continuation bet so it is likely that the villain is just check/folding this flop.

Once you check the flop, call the turn, and raise a blank river, your hand looks alot like a bluff. Decent villains will shove wide on you here as your line does not make any sense.

CALL!

Why would a villain not bet this flop w/ his big hands. It's an action flop and not a good flop to give free cards with.

He's also unlikely to have KQ/AQ because I think he's more likely to read your line as a bluff/turned set and see little value in shoving. On the other hand your line looks alot like a bluff and he can easily be bluff shoving the river here.

How can anyone fold this pre... As for the hand if he is ever bluffing in this spot it is definitely here, it comes down to how capable you think he is of bluffing here but I would instafold against an unknown

Misread action I would fold pre but play rest same
