well u see. when he had you 3:1, the chance of you winning was only 10% so he couldnt give you 49% of the possible prize. However, being down 5:1 increases your equity to like 60-70% so he HAD to give you 29k

He beat me, that's all I know. I was in the 10 seat at that table, and later was sitting on his immediate left with 4 and 3 tables left when deeb got moved to our table.
