Default How to datamine on Full tilt poker?

hi all i saw that this subject has already debated

i m a noob for PT; what i understand is that hands are store on the hard drive for them if u are sitting in in a .txt file

if u are sit out or just with the table open without being sit in or sit out there is a .tmp file created that is automatically destroyed when u close the table

in the first case what i do is to import this file .txt manually (in the case i have played on the tables)

the thing is i want to datamine on full tilt , what can i do of this .tmp file?

Keep tables open, have PT auto-import every minute/couple of minutes. Go to sleep, wake up to datamined stats. Rinse and repeat.

To reiterate, you must have PT open and importing observed hands.

I assume you have already setup hand history on the FTP options tab.

I'm not sure if this is just a brain fart on my part, but I had this problem too.
To get PT to auto-import observed hands, you have to make sure it's pointed to the right folder.
Hands I participate in (at least on my computer) are stored by FTP in C:\Program Files...\FullTiltPoker\HandHistory\Name
Hands I just observe are stored in C:\....\HandHistory
(Not in the specific named folder)

To go into "mining" mode, you have to change the folder PT imports hands from.

Can you do this logged in as an observer, or do you need to log in under your screen name?
Thanks.

Not quite right. PT will scan the directory you specify and all sub-directories. So you should have PT configured to look in C:\...\HandHistory and it will work for both observed hands and played hands.

If you don't log in with your screen name, then I think FTP limits you to 4 tables, but you can still mine them. To get the maximum of 16 tables, you have to log in with your screen name.
