Default CBB 11/17

I see a couple things today that stand out. All lines from Pinny.

Texas -6.5(-108) vs. St. John's

Seems very low, I'd compare Texas and Maryland as similar style teams, Texas has better guards, Maryland better bigs. Michigan State won because of defense, something St. John's doesn't have at all, they used all their timeouts last night to scream at their kids to get back on defense. Durant should have a retarded night, they should dominate the glass as well.

Maryland vs. Michigan State Under 145(+108)

Michigan State is very thin on depth, and again, since they are playing a similar style team, they will slow the game to a crawl and rely on defense to keep them in it. The only problem I see is if it becomes a foul fest.

Eastern Illinois at DePaul Over 118(-114)

This is more of a gut feeling not having seen them play. DePaul has had a terrible time shooting it's first two games, both on the road. Tonight is their home opener, and I'd expect them to perform much better. They played one of the slowest teams ever in NW and scored 39 points, and they totaled 136 in their other game.

Texas is 78% public on wagerline. That scares me.

I like your logic on the Mich. St. under, esp. w/ what i saw last night. Don't know if I'll go w/ that or not.

You noted that Northwestern is slooooooooooooooowww....they're playing a very mediocre Stanford team tonight, and I dont see how they're going to
get to 116 between them.....

Can't believe St. John's shot so well. They were pretty much lights out, the only chance they had. Tough one there.

Maryland/Mich State wasn't even close to the over, I'm happy with the way that went.

DePaul put up 71, I just didn't wager on Eastern Illinois sucking that badly. Happy with the bet. 1-2, and I'm happy with them all. Crap happens.
