live 2-5 hand .. qq face over shove on a high flop
villian plays loose and passive pre flop, his pf range for raises seems to be tt+ aj+ ,,, he limp calls with a very wide range
effective stacks 230 or so hero in the sb with q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villian limps , 2 limps, hero raises to 30 , villian calls. flop a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] $75 hero bets 50, villian shoves for 200, hero... the obv answer is a fold but i feel like he would have raised a big ace that he would want to shove with, and he wouldnt just shove with a hand like at. the only thing i beat is a draw, but i dont understand the over shove. is this ever hearts.

I guess it is hearts sometimes but in live games this is at least an ace 90% of the time IMO. [/ QUOTE ] yup. also, i wud get my PF raise up a bit. if ur 500game plays anything like the ones ive played in, $50 will still get u a caller or so...push those edges =)

Definietly raise more preflop if you can get called, $40+ after limpers is good. $30 often functions like a pot-sweetener in these games.
Also, it's not really an overshove. Pot after his call is $175 and his raise is $150 more. In fact, not even pot sized. Pretty standard. This definitely looks like a fold from here.
