Default Poker Room Rates During New Years?

Perhaps this a dumb question. I'm debating heading out to Vegas for New Years and feel like crashing at the Wynn. Their rates during the weekend are pushing 800 bucks a night. Does the poker rate of 169/199 a night still apply assuming I put in the needed hours? I've never heard of any black-out dates for the poker rate, but it seems like New Years would be one of those times where they might black-out.

You wont get a poker rate on holidays. Especially New Years. Rates are subject to availability and definately not at peak business times such as this.
