Re: 2 Ocean\'s 40 hands
First one is tough. I think I'd usually call given pot size, since he has AK here sometimes (admittedly rarely). Can't really fault a fold. Very player dependent. Valuable insight here, I know.
Hand 2 is spewage IMO. I really dislike calling the turn. Raise if your read says that he's FOS. Personally, I'm giving up the turn most of the time. |

Re: 2 Ocean\'s 40 hands
Sorry for the crappy thread. You guys are all right. I folded the river in hand 1 and raised the river in hand 2, only to be snap called by KQ (who rivered top pair). I've been getting out of line on the river a lot when I have a hand with a bit of SD value but not enough to call. Thanks for the reality check.

Re: 2 Ocean\'s 40 hands
Am I a nit for wanting to dump the 77 pre-flop in hand #1 (assuming the 3-bettor is tight)? Just dont like playing small pairs oop against tight 3-bettors..

Re: 2 Ocean\'s 40 hands
I am wondering about this myself. It seems like a bad call especially if the players are tight, tough, tricky etc.
I would like to here in what scenarios calling here with 77 would be correct and why? |
