Spending 2600 (including monitor)/3500 is acceptable if you need a very powerful business workstation. Otherwise, WTF?

Even spending 500 on a GPU, 500 on a monitor, 500 on a CPU, 200 on RAM, I still can't see spending 2600.

BTW, jjshabado, where would you go to buy a new desktop?

I did laugh at him when he told me and reminded him that there is a 21 day return policy. We both agreed that for $2600 the machine should give you a BJ.

Here is basically what he got plus 4-year warrenty and some other [censored] and you get $2600:

MEMORY 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 4 DIMMs
HARD DRIVE 320GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™
OPTICAL DRIVE Single Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability
