I've got a better microwave 'oops' story (come to think of it, I have a lot of 'oops' stories ... hmmmmmmmmm). I set the timer when I'm doing laundry. Well, once I hit 'time cook' instead of timer, and EVEN THOUGH IT STARTED RUNNING, I WAS OBLIVIOUS AND WENT ON WITH MY DAY. Twelve minutes later, the whiff of burning circuitry filled my nostrils. Thirty minutes after that, I carried a new microwave from Walmart to my car.
