Default Ace King...Deceptive Turn?

No reads. Although openlimp/calling the button is sort of a read.

Hero (SB): $198.50
BB: $188.75
UTG: $54.70
MP: $252
CO: $244.85
BTN: $204

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
3 folds, BTN calls $2.00, Hero raises to $9.00, BB folds, BTN calls $7.00

Flop: ($20.00) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $16.00, BTN calls $16.00

Turn: ($52.00) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $36.00, BTN raises to $75.00, Hero...

First instinct on the turn is Yay, we got top two plus redraws to the nut flush, so BETBETBET. But, we don't really like getting raised on the turn here do we?

Discuss turn play please. Plus, ramifications for a blank river. Thank you.

I probably play it the same. I think he calls the turn with some worse 2-pair hands (maybe even a lone A if he sucks enough), and rarely raises with anything you beat.

That said, since he raised so small, and you have two redraws, you obviously have to call the turn. I'd probably just lead big on a heart river, but I *might* c/r if the FH hits.

Bah, n/m only $100 or so left on river. Just shove if you improve no matter what.

don't bet the turn, don't don't :/. C/C or C/f are definately both better. depends on his bet size

Yeah, I could see checking this turn for sure. Don't know if I'd ever ever lay it down with at least 13 outs (11 i guess if you say villain has a flush) and top 2 on a board where villain could easily also bet a worse 2 pair.

So, if we check turn and Villain bets $30, we call.

Pot is now $112. River is 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] we c/c on the river? How much are we willing to call in that scenario?

i would almost always check-calls this turn cus i hate to get raised here (although we got redraws we're almost certainly behind if villain raises IME)

make a value bet on heart river. any other river depends on bet size and reads.. i;m leaning towards check-fold, unless river bet is less than 1/2 pot, otherwise i think fold

I think b/f might be best on a blank river, seeing as he's checking behind hands we might get value of, and combining straight and flush vbets with the occasional bluff often enough that it's going to be a verrrry tough call on the river.

I'm usually not one for donkbets, but I think this might be a spot for it. Anyone else?
