Default Is this a good line?

Villain here did something which looked weird to me. What do you all think?

UTG limps, villain raises on the button, SB coldcalls, BB and UTG call.

Flop is Q62 with two spades.

Checked to button who bets. SB check-raises. He is kind of weak tight and most likely has a hand.

BB and UTG fold.

Button folds.

He's getting 11-1.

Are there hands which he has played correctly here? 99-JJ maybe?

although it's 4-way that's one of those flops that people still c-bet. so, although he may have had JJ-99, i doubt it. i think his most likely hand was non-spade suited undercards like Td9d JTo, or 55.

My first thought is JT. He could have a small pair too.

A lot of TAGs and LAGTAGs c-bet too much. He can easily have someting like JJ, JTs, A9 no spades etc.

I dont think I play any hand like this.

I think Ax and 33-55 are played well. TBH I auto bet any hand in his spot 4 way alot of the time, although maybe I shouldn't?

I think this is a good flop to c-bet if you miss. It would be much better if it didnt have 2 spades though.

I have seen people talking about c-betting 4 way pots like this a lot and I think most of the time it isn't good. I think there are times when a c-bet is good in a 4way pot, but I think its a lot less frequent than others seem to think. I think there are way to many people that will peel on flops like this and it really leaves you in a difficult spot on the turn if its HU. I also think the flush draw flop really reduces the times that you get everyone to fold. There is always some donkey w/ the K of spades hoping to draw to a runner runner fd.
