Reads are important here. I have certainly have raised the river in similar spots for value in low limit games (but this was back when I played on Party and people were really bad). The whole hand doesn't make a lot of sense, you certainly can't fold, but I don't think you can get much value with a raise here *without a read to the contrary*. That's the case even though CO has A8 or 87 like always here (and calls when MP doesn't 3bet the river). So I'd call, see what MP has, and try to figure what distorted logic he was using when he played his hand. (Although if he shows something ridiculuous like QJs for the backdoor flush I will first snap my monitor in half.)

flush didn't get there.

that's what I'm saying, this retard has like AT most of the time, MP has like 77.

If either of them had you beat, you would have been facing two on the river, or been 3bet on the turn.

I guess the first guy could have TT, but he would probably c/r the river.

When I am confused, and I think i'm winning, I'm just raising.

For those that say call, what hand do you think you are losing to, and from what player?

raisings not out of the question with the rite read, but id rarely do it, and definitely not here since MP is the ok tag.

folding certainly is out of the question tho. I like flop play, on the turn how many outs how often do we figure the guy behind to have? , we may be better off going for overcalls and not letting the donker 3bet better hands, but its probably close since the pot is big and if we just call hes more than correct to call w 3 outs worth of equity here so i think raising is best. tough math problem there.

I would say "what the [censored]" and before I had a chance to think about it the stars beeper would beep at me and I would quickly click call to make sure I didn't time out and fold.

I thought the flush had come in. Now it's a lot closer and I often raise in this spot. It sucks if you lose to 97 or if CO had a hand like 54 and is afraid to raise the river after missing a chance to raise the turn, but I think you are ahead too often and guaranteed at least one bet from CO, so I now think it's a (probably somewhat thin) raise. The pot is bloated enough that most players will feel compelled to make a "bad" call with Tx or 8x here.

LOL if one of them has the rawketz, though.

I could think of raising river. You obviously beat both of them the vast majority of time and you donīt have to think about overcalling value. I do think that at least CO calls river if you raise.

?

I have been banging the "my hand is better than your hand" drum very hard on every street and still the first player wants to bet through the other guy at me on the river. Doesn't look good to me.

Guy.

then fold

if you can't fold to a three bet, then don't raise the river.

If he can bet/3bet the river with a worse hand than KK after all that action, he deserves the pot.

To be honest it doesnīt. I still raise though since this looks like a bet/fold with a pair or a badly played PP (hopefully not 44,66,AA).And we still want to get a call from CO.
And to be real controversial I think folding if we get 3-bet is the best decision.
I would probably overcall the river in real life. But what I do in real life is not necessarily what I believe is the best play.
And erase your note of MP being decentish.
