USB Travel 1GB HD Problems

Well no luck today. Geek Squad and Comp USA said they couldnt do it. Wife even took it to her father who is a high ranking PO, and he in turn took it to some Police Computer place where they tried the soddering but no luck. We were told our only option is to send it out to a Data Retrival place for 500 bucks. I dont see that as being a reasonable option.

Still maybe worth contacting the manufacturer and tell them you are willing to pay but you'd like an estimate of repair. They'll probably say no, but it might be worth asking. Getting the right person on the phone could make all the difference.
