the key is to do something that (a) won't cost the district any money or (b) put anyone's safety in jeopardy. anyone can simply be destructive. be creative. the best pranks are the ones where no one can be pissed, because no "real" harm was done.

one of my first years teaching the students released 500 crickets in the school. exterminators had to be called. there were issues with the health department because of the cafeteria. it was dumb. i told the kids it was dumb and said "500 crickets is not funny. 500,000, however, is hilarious." i don't think the administration liked that.
