uhhh wow. so i just called comcast to get the nfl network package thing everyone is complaining about having to buy. I now have a much better complaint. For some reason, Santa Cruz, CA, a city of 50,000 people, does not get the NFL network through cable(comcast), so I cannot watch the game at my house on TV unless I switch to a dish provider, wow. That is incredible, I get 200+ channels and there is a nationally televised nfl game and I will not be getting it. wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

It isn't really nationally televised if it's on NFL network. I think there has already been a thread on this for the Pats-Giants game later in the season.

I was under the impression from that thread that people were just pissed they had to pay 5 bucks a month extra to get the channel. I am pissed it isnt even an option. If that was nationally televised it would be the highest rated show on television tonight, it is fairly criminal for comcast not to show this to us because they want to push the vs. network imo.

I'll say Dallas 35, Green Bay 31.

It may not be that close, but I don't think the line should be 7 for Dallas.

Ya this is a huge point of contention in the media right now. Jerry Jones is *super* pissed about it.

On ESPN radio this morning, the hosts were saying something about being able to watch this game online. Anyone know anything about this? I wasn't clear whether it was a pay-per service, or something quasi-legal, but they said they weren't going to mention the name of the website...but they talked about it like it was fairly well-known. Anyone help me out?

There's a website - http://www.iwantnflnetwork.com to sign a petition, but the NFL Network is asking cable companies for a lot of money to carry the channel.
