Live SNGS random thoughts and questions

$140 (1500 units) - $580, $350, $225 ------($245)---(17.5%)
$250 (2000 units) - $1075, $645, $430------($350)---(14%)
$520 (3500 units) - $2400, $1440, $960-----($400)---(7.7%)
$1050 (5000 units) - $5000, $3000, $2000---($500)---(4.8%)

Blinds start out at 50/100. If you had a choice of multitabling online SNGs or playing these what do you choose? I'm 100% confident that I am the best player at the table every time at the $140/$250 level but I don't have a roll for $520. Should I be trying to play at the highest level to lower the %cut or stay down ad minimize the chance of going broke?

What's the rake and number of players? Probably multitabling online is a far better choice.

rake will kill you in the lower sngs most likely. just curious if u will be the best player in the sngs why dont u have a roll for the 520s, unless you are being very conservatve iwth ur bankroll. wouldnt 5k be enough if u are soo good.

The money in paranthesis is the amount the house is getting...10man...The whole point is that I hardly profit because of the large rake/ dealer tips...Am I wasting my time playing the 140s or should I stay at home and build a roll for 520s online?

It'd be easier if you just listed them as an e.g.
115.50 + 24.50

1st = $580
2nd = $350
3rd = $225

for tired losers who should be in bed like me. If the blind levels are 15 minutes and you only start with 20bbs this is a crapshoot. If the highest you're rolled for is $250 I'd be surprised if you could do any better then 10% roi given tips and rake. If these last an hour then you can make $25/hour. If you play $60s online and 6 table with a 10% roi then you make about the same money per hour.

I'd play online cause rake is da devil. If you like playing live then cash games would probably be a better way to go then sngs.

520s online will be infinitley harder than 520s or any of the other games you have been playing, I don't know how good you are but they don't translate directly and there is a strong chance if you try to jump in that high you will go busto within a few games.
