Temperature in the RIO
I am starting packing for my trip to Vegas for the WSOP. I have played in some tournaments where they seem to keep the room at like 50 degrees for some reason.
You people who played the WSOP last year: what is the temperature like in the room? Should I bring a jacket just for that? |

Re: Temperature in the RIO
From what I have heard, wear two layers at least.

It's gonna be really cold. Casinos are always cold.

Re: Temperature in the RIO
as a general rule, i think you should always bring some sort of jacket or sweatshirt when going to a casino for poker. i don't see any reason to not do it here.

Re: Temperature in the RIO
It got pretty hot last year during the ME, especially when all of the spectators rushed in after each break.

Re: Temperature in the RIO
Their temperature control is no better than any other room at adjusting for the number of people in it.
Last year I went straight there from the airport to get in some cash game play, around midnight. The room was pretty empty and it was freezing. Next day I was playing in a $1500 event and it was really warm. I brought a hoodie and didn't get to wear it. During ME I was switching back and forth between t-shirt and that Full Tilt pullover we got. So yeah like people said, bring layers. |

Re: Temperature in the RIO
Agree with everyone else. During the busy times it's hot and late at night its freezing.
