river raised
i am stubborn and have a hard time releasing hands when popped on rivers. this one seems close i wanted to check with others.
20/40 online opponent is loose preflop with normal aggression but appears to turn it up postflop a little. i am pretty sure he would raise with TP on the flop fwiw. 6 handed and i open UTG ith black KJo and get called by a loose passive feeder to my left and villian on the button. flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] i bet, both call. turn is K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] i bet, feeder folds, villian calls river is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] i bet, villian raises. i am getting 10-1 and get confused. his hand doesnt make sense, perhaps AJ? then again these guys play weird sometimes.... |

Re: river raised
Since you don't have a read on his river play and the pot is offering 10:1 I don't think you can fold here.

Re: river raised
I usually have a hard time figuring out what he has until I see his cards and my chips sliding into his stack. I think this can be filed in the kurosh hands I should fold but don't thread.

[/ QUOTE ] There are 7.5 bets in the pot on this flop. While I don't advocate autobetting every flop where I was the pfr, I think that on flops like paint (or A ),brick, brick betting and seeing 2 folds will happen often enough to show a profit. You will also avoid looking super weak when you just c/f. This is an interesting question but I think I save my flop check folds for scarier boards where my outs are dirty and my opponents tough. |
