Cool red headed fairy! I really like this MissT. Very pretty.

How many do you have in your collection?

i had a box of all the love notes/letters that had been given to me since i was a little kid all the way up to my passionate and insane love affairs in london.

a couple of years ago, when we were away from home, someone backed a moving van up to our front door and essentially emptied our house. one of the things they took was my box of love notes. wtf? take anything else, like, for example, things worth money, but not my little box of love notes. bastards.

As to whats in it, it a complete mishmash of things. But, almost everything is small given the box is small and cant hold much. Also, since the box is small and given that it holds 20+ years of memories, only the most important ones make it in.

Do you ever read back through your old letters? Doesn't it make you sad?

[/ QUOTE ]I almost never ever go into the box. I only put stuff in it. I bet I have looked at the stuff in the box less than 10 times in 20+ years. That box scares the crap out of me.

Thinking about you and your relatively small box full of important small things made me smile.

Thinking about you and your stolen box full of love notes that was taken away by a moving van made me frown. That's just so sad.

Default Katy

Katy,

Well, I've been collecting for about 7 years now, some have broken, others are still in boxes. I would estimate only about 20 or so. I tend to be picky on the ones I want, and I ask for them only on special occasions to make it more special and not just "here's my 10 bookshelves of fairies"

My next plan though is a fairy tatoo....in mid flight with her left hand sipping from an apple martini and her right hand kind of flung back behind her holding a King and Queen of hearts.

NSFW pictures and vids.

Katy, do you want to see some of those?

[/ QUOTE ]

Er...no. That's ok, I'm good.
Um, do you have a big collection or sort of the "standard" amount for a guy. (not sure how exactly to inquire about your porn collection )

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's fairly "standard"
But, some things are better left alone.

I collect perfume bottles...and to a lesser extent perfume. I love perfume, but I'm crazy for bottles. I don't know how many I have, but the bulk of my collection is still in boxes, and on my dresser I currently have 8 perfumes and 7 empty bottles. In my boxes I have some number of empty bottles well over 20 and under 50.

I have a gorgeous lalique green glass that is the prize of my collection, a tiny ivory bottle that was a purse perfume in the twenties when you could still get ivory, I have atomizers and daubers, and bottles from all over Europe (anytime anyone I know goes to Europe, they come back with perfume bottles for me). I have a couple of Murano glass bottles, some cut crystal decorative pieces, and even some novelty ones... one old Avon bottle that looks like an inkwell with a quill, some egyptian cat-like bottles...

and on and on and on. They're so glorious and all different, and such beautiful colors: sparkling reds and jewel blues, and a gold, and burgundy and pinks and...

yeah, I have a serious perfume problem.

Oh my god these sound cool. I have always loved looking at perfume bottles but I don't have any cool ones myself, certainly nothing as cool as ivory or egyptian cat bottles. Awesome. Great collection VR. Wish you would take a picture of some of them for us.

[/ QUOTE ]I think bottles are a very cool thing to collect. If you have time, you should post some pictures.
