[ QUOTE ]
what is a Michael Jackson candy bar, is it just the wrapper or did you save the actual bar?

[/ QUOTE ]The actual bar. here is a picture I just took of it. I wonder what the chocolate looks like inside after 17 years. This is the first time anything has been removed from the box other than to quickly look at it. It sounds silly, but these things are so important to me that when I brought the candy bar in the room to take a picture of it I held it with 2 hands and I set it on a towel for fear of damaging it. How weird is that

[ QUOTE ]
So I'm curious what exactly is in that box of yours and how big is it?

[/ QUOTE ]The box is an old box from a fairly large coffee maker. So, it isn't very big and it is overflowing but I can't bring myself to put it in a different box because the box itself is important. As to whats in it, it a complete mishmash of things. But, almost everything is small given the box is small and cant hold much. Also, since the box is small and given that it holds 20+ years of memories, only the most important ones make it in.

[ QUOTE ]
What kind of ticket stubs you got in there, like from concerts?

[/ QUOTE ]Plane tickets, movie stubs, concert stubs, sporting event stubs, etc.

[ QUOTE ]
Do you ever read back through your old letters? Doesn't it make you sad?

[/ QUOTE ]I almost never ever go into the box. I only put stuff in it. I bet I have looked at the stuff in the box less than 10 times in 20+ years. That box scares the crap out of me.

This is awesome AJW. I love hearing about other people's collections. You have hoarded some cool stuff. What are you into collecting these days?

[ QUOTE ]

As a kid I had a nice collection of star wars figures I ebayed the last of them away a few years ago.
In my youth I collected The Incredible Hulk comic and some other Marvel comics but the Hulk was my favorite I have a full run from its relaunch with issue 102 up to its relaunch as Hulk 1 some time in the early 2000. I hunted about at comic conventions and in shops filling the gaps in my collection over a period of years paying good money for crappy 1970s issues I knew would have poor art and awful plots and dialogs.

[/ QUOTE ]

How much do you get for star wars figures on ebay? Which ones were most valuable?

Also, what happened to your Incredible Hulk comic book collection?

[ QUOTE ]

Concurrent with the comic collecting was my collecting of Games Workshop metal miniatures toy solders from a fantasy universe. I have two giant armies though I never played one game with them. Recently I looked into Ebaying them only to find they are worth more unpainted. I don’t want to sell them for less then they are worth but I don’t want to strip the paint off it just seems like I'm accepting that my artistic attempts devalue things like trying to sell a painting and finding buyers will pay more for the canvas.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why didn't you play at least one game with them! I would have played at least one game if I had two giant armies. So what will you do with the soldiers now? Keep them?

If you go to this site I have everything on the main page. I mainly collect things made by Kit Rae. He's prob the best fantasy knife/sword maker in the world. The 1st pic(The Valdris) is the one that I have. I started collecting his stuff about 6 yrs ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cool. I like the Medusa dagger. So do you have these on display in your place? I imagine they all take up a bit of room.

Also about the hot sauces: do you use hot sauce frequently? Do you collect unopened bottles? Can you recommend a good hot sauce? I like the standard tabasco but am looking for something hotter without the 'chemical burn' flavor, heh.

I honestly cant answer that, I have heard about the wilburys but if they had a song playing on the radio I would not be able to spot it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't worry, I don't know the answer either ... Except that the Wilbury is Tom Petty, this much i do know. I figured you would just go and look it up and disregard my order not to look. (You were probably like 3 yrs old when the album came out. )

How many do you have smart alec and why do you not talk about The Bachelor with me?

[/ QUOTE ]

I own approximately 15 white button-down shirts. I still enjoy talking about the Bachelor. The divorced blonde is the favorite. She seems more like a real person that the rest of them, and she is hot.

I just looked her up, and her name is Bettina. Strange name.

[/ QUOTE ]

15 WHITE SHIRTS!?! Wow. Now I don't feel quite so bad that I own 20 black shirts. Of course you are a lawyer and use yours for work but in any case I kind of feel better. (Do you own 15 blue shirts too?)

Bettina is my favorite Bachelor girl too. Her name rhymes with "patina" that's crazy!

She is so sweet and so much better behaved than the other girls. Plus I like the way she talks and her eyes are great. I really like her and think he should choose her.

NSFW pictures and vids.

Katy, do you want to see some of those?

[/ QUOTE ]

Er...no. That's ok, I'm good.
Um, do you have a big collection or sort of the "standard" amount for a guy. (not sure how exactly to inquire about your porn collection )

MissT -- when you create a post, just click image (it is below the text area) then paste the link for the pic into the box that pops up.

edit: now would probably be a good time to mention rehosting It is best if you rehost images with say imageshack rather then linking to the image directly.

Just go to imageshack, click the URL radio button and paste the link, then click host. At that point you can copy the 'direct link to image' URL and past that in the box that pops up when you click image (when creating a post) or you can just paste the 'hotlink for forums' link into your message.

ug, 2nd edit: ok, something isn't working with that lol -- sure fire method:

save the image to your computer. go to imageshack, click browse, find the pic, then click host and copy links as above.

Not much over the years I had lost most of them so just bundled up what I had and put it on as one lot. I looked into prices before selling and I believe that the little guys who sold the droids to Luke I the first film are the most expensive If you have some variant of the cloak, silly money $500 or something.

Still have all my comics safely bagged and stored in boxes I should have sold just after the film came out if I was going to sell.

Good question I guess I was always waiting till every thing was perfect but by the time id finished getting every thing on my lists id fell out of contact with all the RPG (another large collection id forgotten) geeks id hung out with in high school. Regret over never using them is one of the reasons I’m loath to get rid of them. They reside in the bottom two draws of a chest sitting in the corner of my parent house.

One last collection I forgot I inherited my grandmother’s collection of diecast formula one cars from the late 70 early 80s The thing is I can't remember her ever watching formula one.

Holy crap Evil! These look very artistic but also ridiculously scary. You have quite a collection there. Do you display them on your wall or keep them in boxes or what? Are any of these practical weapons or are they a little too fancy for everyday street fighting? (also, do you find that your friends are a little inimidated to come over and hang out with you and the knives?)
