To get this thread back on track,

My parents got divorced when I was in high school. My mom kept the house and my dad got a really [censored] apartment about 20 minutes away.

My dad drove to my house every morning to take me to school. And the drive from my house to the school was only about 5 minutes.

My dad was on the cover of our County Paper for being the leader of a Drug Manufacturing/Distributing Ring he and his brother's ran. That's kinda cool.

And there were times when he and his brothers would come out of his room strapping on bulletproof vests and shoulder holsters, and carrying guns. Talking about "We gotta go collecting".

That [censored] sounds kinda crazy, but it was cool too. (Note: I lived with my Mom so I got low doses of the craziness at that house.)

My dad was the only person in my family who saw through my "i dont really give a [censored]" charade when my long term gf dumped me.
