Double barrel with nut flush draw gets check min-raised. RIPE
Villian is unknown and plays 40/7/0.6 through 40 hands
Does a min raise put you on tilt and make you mad, or is it just me? Stack sizes: Hero: $235 Villian: $212 Preflop: 2 calls, Hero raises to $12 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 1 fold, villian calls, 2 folds. Flop($29): 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] vllian checks, hero bets $20, villian calls. Turn($69): 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villian checks, hero bets $50, villian min check raises to $100, Hero... I hate check min raises. Villian has $80 left after he puts in the $100 raise. |

Call. Push any of your outs - this villain will call for sure. Fold if you don't straight or flush up.
Pushing now is bad, you have 0 FE - he will have a set/2pair/straight like always. |

Against a guy like that I check the turn because he won't fold.
As played, figure out the pot odds. We can assume we stack him everytime if we hit. |

I'd probably check behind on the turn.

What do we do if a J or A hits on the river, check call push?

We fold an ace or jack if he bets.

Re: Double barrel with nut flush draw gets check min-raised. RIPE
So how do you figure pot odds out at this point. Do I count the $50 I have invested?
Please correct me here: $50 to win $219 that's in the pot. 5:22 = .222 ~ 1:4.5 If he has a set: (any 2 may not be a clean out) 11 spades - 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] = outs with one pull of the deck 9 out of 43 cards = .2 ~ 1:5 Plus implied odds I'll stack him for $80 more if a spade comes. How does that look? |

Re: Double barrel with nut flush draw gets check min-raised. RIPE
9 spades minus 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Should be 7 out of 43 cards = .16 ~ 1:6 |

Re: Double barrel with nut flush draw gets check min-raised. RIPE
Isnt this completely wrong from a commitment threshold point of view? Or do you guys not apply proffesional nlhe?
Thats why its a check on the turn right? |
