10/20 live - facing river c/r
i normally dont play live cashgames but busted out of a tournament early and gave it a shot.
table is 9-handed and very weak. a lot of limping and passive play. just the hand before i won a big pot without showing down my hand, but i have a generally tight image. villian (asian dude, a little loose preflop but seems like he knows what hes doing) minraises from middle position to 40, i make it 140 with AJo from cutoff table folds he calls. Kc-6c-3x check - i bet 200 he calls. Jc check - check river: Jx he checks i bet 700 he instashoves. i have about 2000 more he covers. no reads on him and i dont know if hes capable of a huge bluff or something. |

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
I think this is a fold, live games with semi-fishy players are unlikely to make this kind of move with anything you beat. (QJ or JT maybe?)

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
KJ beats me and QJ would be a very brave oop float
/e same for JT. |

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
The fact that he c/r instead of betting out the river makes me think that he has a strong hand and he thinks he is only getting paid if you bet first.

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
the problem is he has to have something to call me on the flop. the flushdraw hit, a king makes no sense bc i think he only calls river. he might play a flush, KJ or slowplayed set this way. only hands i beat are 45 or something like 67 when he realises hes beat and wants to push me off AK etc. but in both cases that would be a very advanced and tricky line and im not sure if this player is capable of it.

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
AQs or KK seems very likely right here given it is the type of game you say it is.
edit: minraise from MP screams KK |

Re: 10/20 live - facing river c/r
like .03% of live players are capable of a river c/r bluff, but the fact that he's asian makes it a little more likely!
