Re: Best Online Poker Bonus at WPEX. why is thread locked?
I guess one thread in the appropriate forum IS too much to ask.

Re: Best Online Poker Bonus at WPEX. why is thread locked?
It was locked because it's old news that just keeps getting bumped. Plus, why the gist of the bonus was not even mentioned in the subject line is beyond me.
Why isn't there a perpetually bumped thread for the Crypto monthly reloads? Why wasn't there one when Bodog had the bottomless bonus? There is nothing wrong with the bonus. It's great. But to keep bumping an old thread with no new info (and info that can be easily retrieved from wsex.com) is tiresome. |

But to keep bumping an old thread with no new info (and info that can be easily retrieved from wsex.com) is tiresome. [/ QUOTE ] There is periodically new info posted to the thread. It was used earlier today to communicate about WPEX's Prime the Pump promotion/email. Previously I posted detailed stats in the thread about what expected earn was at various levels and games. I think the thread serves a good purpose. The rakeback + bonus available at WPEX is, in fact, the best bonus in online poker, and numerous people have commented in the thread that they appreciate the reminder. WPEX doesn't have a big ad budget, or affiliates, can't they have one active thread in the appropriate forum? There are constantly multiple threads on the front page about the big operators, but we can't have even one thread about WPEX? This seems awfully heavy handed to me. |

Re: Best Online Poker Bonus at WPEX. why is thread locked?
I appreciated the thread as it reminded me about the bonus every wednesday. It is not old news, and if some site has a bottomless bonus that is worthless, it is very different from this one that gives players a +EV alternative where actually more money goes in that out of the site.
I suggest making info a stickie, until the promotion ends. I sure will play there tomorrow night, even if it is 3AM here. And your argument of bumping the thread is tiresome, well... Rest my case. ToT |

There is periodically new info posted to the thread. [/ QUOTE ] If by periodically, you mean every two months, then I agree. If someone wants to make a solid, detailed post covering recurring bonii, I will be happy to sticky it. |

How did the "Prime the Pumps" push go?
I played earlier in the evening as I'm in Europe. At that time the games were as busy as I can remember, from memory I think 4 full $5/10 LHE tables were running plus the 6-Max which I didn't count. |

[/ QUOTE ] I wasn't there during the exact hours, but when I played earlier in the evening it was quite busy for a Thursday. The peak for the day was 70 players higher than last Thursday, according to Poker Site Scout. You have to go back several months to find a Thursday with a higher peak, so I guess it was a modest, if not overwhelming, success. |
