I probably just calldown after he 3bets flop. Most villians wount 3bet you with pair of eights or small pocket pair because they know that you have probably overpair

yeah not really much reason to cap since its sets you up for a turn c/r on the turn. I think calling down from the 3-bet is fine, and bet if checked to. If he has an 8 we don't want him to get out cheap, and if he has a 4 there is no reason to charge ourselves to see a SD.

I agree with calling down after the flop three-bet, but I can see why you capped the flop since only a total 'tard would play a 4 like this.
