Both valueshoves.

Also I was too busy cramming massive amounts of food down my gullet to do anything but put the chips in the middle.

sheckwave: shows [Ks Kh] (a pair of Kings)
gobboboy: shows [As Td] (two pair, Aces and Tens)

I was MrBenson and I was suprised when that call was made and thought to myself cynically: "So that's what it takes to be good!" It's actually the 1 hand that really sticks in my mind from the whole tournament.

It's sickening to be so close to the big money and then have your damn AKs outdrawn by a maniac with AQ leaving you with a crap stack when you could have a really big 1. Makes ya bitter. Standard stuff I know.

Gobbo owns obv, but the 2nd one is very very rarely a good play imo.

how disheartening is it to see donks like this go on and win millions? i cant count the amount of times i have been on the other side of their plays, holding the KK or AK to watch them repeatedly suckout, win the tourney and go on to have every moron on the internet kissing their @ss. poker is so [censored] up. people always try to say luck evens out and every1 gets the same cards over a long period of time. i use this example tho, say every1 on the internet started with 10k in their account and every1 played HU cash games 20 buy ins deep, and you had to shove every hand, eventually people would be up in the millions because luck doesn't have to even out and if it does, for these tourney players it's all about being luck at the right times, winning the huge suckouts and taking small suckouts. there is an absolutely enormous luck factor, mainly in tourney poker where all ins are frequent, players like gobboboy and annette are not great players, i would play either of them at 50/100nl and would guarantee over the span of 10 hours i would win a significant amount. i once was in vegas and saw the roulette table go red 40 straight times, is 40 times the amount that is needed for the odds to even out? that table might have been 65 percent red for a month, rolling thousands of times a day. the sample space for these players is so small, and to be extremely lucky over a year's time is nothing, maybe their luck will even out after 4-6 years but a year or two means nothing.

I totally agree.
