He says a lot of things but never specifically "I didn't do it and had no part in it.". His tone sounds really like a guilty man who thinks he has a chance to get the money if he continues to act innocent.

edit: Instead of "I didn't do it", he says "They have no evidence it was me". Guess which thing an innocent man would immediately say on the topic.

99% of the time he was cheating in some way and just rerouted the IP or something.
