Re: No Stars VIP tourney thread? If not, here it is!
[ QUOTE ]
Out of the 50K With my stack size, I'm not sure I could've gotten away here. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Tough spot, but a raise and then a check-shove by SB mean you're behind a lot here. And you still have 17BB left if you fold. |

Re: No Stars VIP tourney thread? If not, here it is!
This is true, but antes were in there too. 3430 leaves me with an M of 7ish, but if I take this down, I'm in really good shape. I haven't done tourneys in a while, though. It seems like I spend a majority of my time in the yellow/orange zones.

It looks like there's a long pause when another level of cashing hits. This is my first time making it this far, so I wouldn't know.

Re: No Stars VIP tourney thread? If not, here it is!
Ah, normally players bust out in chronological order. Near the bubble, this creates an incentive for players to stall just to outlive others, so they change to hand-for-hand play. Each hand is synchronized, and if players bust on the same hand, they finish in order of their stack sizes going into that hand. Awkward, slow, cumbersome, but so far nobody has come up with a better idea.
