Default HELP! Totally Lost

So, I am taking a chance here and hoping some people will offer me some help. I know this board can get really insulting but, I have faith some of the good regulars will post.

How do you make the transition from 1/2 to 2/4 ? I cannot do it, I feel like a weak tight that just gets destroyed at 2/4. At 1/2 I run like 20/18 and I feel very comfortable there as a 6-7 ptbb/100 over nearly 100K hands. However, when I move to 2/4 all my PFR are RR and all my continuation bets are raised. People just bully the snot out of me. Do you just start pushing with more marginal holdings ? Does TPTK somehow go up in value ?

Please help me understand what I need to change to make the move from 1/2 to 2/4. I am open to any suggestions. I am jst sick of feeling bullied at 1/2

Thank you!

well, when first moving up, try to game select a bit more "nittily", also helps to play a few of your regular games, while 1 tabling the higher limit, if you really are having that much trouble.

just play your game, if you're a winner at 1/2 you certainly can beat 2/4...sometimes it just takes a few winning sessions, or maybe more importantly, losing sessions at the higher limit till you are comfy with the swings.

You may also just be running bad. The game doesnt change too much from one limit to the next. If you were a winner at 1/2, you'll be a winner at 2/4.

Try to find a better table if you are always getting RRed. Not every table is like that.

I have read this exact post re: moving up from $1 to $2. "However, when I move to 1/2 all my PFR are RR and all my continuation bets are raised. People just bully the snot out of me. Do you just start pushing with more marginal holdings ?" Try better table/seat selection.

You can keep the same playing range but play your strong hands stronger and fold liberally the average hands. Look at the sizes of your bets, are they small-ish? Increase them a bit and see if you're still getting rr'ed. Don't just call a reraise with a very strong hand, push or rr him back. Soon these LAGs will learn not to mess with you and then you can start your own aggression on them.
