Re: 100NL | A couple river value pushes
I like both of these hands.
It looks like he has two pair in the first hand. The 5 probably scared him so he just called. Hand 2 is an easy AI. If he has a 6 or pocket 10's oh well, get him next time. |

Dude, you have a set and this guy is pretty tight preflop, which means he almost never has 3x. I don't mind a check if you think he's always folding Ax, but folding should never be in the equation. |

Re: 100NL | A couple river value pushes
Yeah I guess I've just been running terrible so I've been questioning some hands that I lost. Hand 1 really killed me, he had 34dd and I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw it. It just made me think about whether pushing that river was a bad decision, but I was just being results oriented and his hand just screamed 2 pair that was willing to call down.
Hand 2 I nearly timed out deciding whether to shove or just call. I kept thinking he might get away from JJ/QQ and only call me with a K, AA or better but I figured that I checked the turn to set him up for this anyway and I shoved. He called and had KK, so what can you do. Thanks guys I feel better though that I didn't misplay these at least. |
