We need a plan.

If we call the minraise, are we willing to get our stack in on a non-A or K flop? If we're just calling, we need to figure out if we're playing this hand for set value or not.

Or if we reraise preflop to $3 and get called, we can safely push a non-A or K flop.

Or we call call the flop and see if he slows down with his whiffed AK. If a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hits the turn and he checks, I would definitely bet.

With any of those options, we're probably putting about $3 or more in the pot along the way, so I probably reraise preflop to $3.

Also, at these levels, it's not uncommon for a villan to bet this flop on a flush draw the same they would have bet a set on the flop.

So if we reraise to 3$ PF, and he comes over the top we are done with the hand?

I had the same idea on the flop but, what are we doing if he pots a blank turn, or half-pots a blank turn?

Against an unknown, I would fold to a push if we reraise. I'm a nit, so I really need a good reason to play for stacks with QQ preflop.

If we call the flop and he pots a blank turn, I'm done with the hand. If he half-pots the turn, meh, that's like $2.50? I can't call any reasonable bet on the river, considering he triple-barreled it, so I fold to half-pot on the turn.

But I'm a nit, YMMV.

I just flatcall the flop again, usually villain will have all sorts of junk right now. Depending on the turn card/villains action I'll decide what I do next, usually calling again if he leads again.

At 10 NL you might see even two overcards here or some trash. Push and I can see many worse hands calling such as draws and overpairs you have beat.
