($27) KQo in BB to button raise
Opp's stats 33/14 over 180 hands. Seems like a reasonably solid player, my notes say he steals regularly from the button. What's your move preflop? Fold, call or re-raise (shove)?

Re: ($27) KQo in BB to button raise
My move is to fold.
My second move is to create a new classification system where 33/14 is a LAG and very far removed from a solid player. |

I call and play the flop with him. no need to repop and create a huge pot at early stage.

Re: ($27) KQo in BB to button raise
Just fold it and find a better spot, its only beginning of sng, there will be one against 30/16 guy for sure.
If i saw more i might just shove it back at him if he really like stealing when bb are 50 like that. |

[/ QUOTE ] With only 180 hands you could easily be playing solid and be 34vpip in sngs. It depends how deep into your tournies you got with him...if you got ITM against him twice and he had chips to push both times he could easily be playing that many hands without getting out of line. |

Re: ($27) KQo in BB to button raise
as scotty has said, 33/14 is a lag. does not mean he is terrible, but i doubt he is really good.
i think calling and seeing a flop is good. if his full table stats are 33/19 he is probably open raising 40% or so from the button, so hitting top pair is gonna be the nuts. pushing preflop cant be too bad vs this guy, but it is a bit risky because he might call you with Ax. folding vs this guy seems way too tight. you want to get involved with these types of players postflop if you can because they will spew chips. i would be very surprised if this guy does not stack off his 77 on a Q63 flop. |
