Default Help, I am getting raped by a LAG

Villain is running 30/25/3 and is raping me. I had no chance to find out if he is a good or bad lag.

He floated me 2 or 3 times before this hand and I chickened out every time and folded to his turn bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed)

Button ($224.00)
SB ($188.00)
BB ($13.65)
UTG ($388.34)
Hero ($278.30)
CO ($53.05)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $7, 1 fold, Button calls $7, 2 folds.

Flop: ($17) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $12, Button calls $12.

Turn: ($41) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $39, Hero calls $39.

Turn check is for value, of course

River: ($119) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $119, Hero...

I expect villain to give up or bluff smaller, but he mashes the pot again. Does this have significant influence on his range?

fire the 2nd barrel against this guy, esp if you feel your hand is good, and to prevent him from floating you.

Once you check and calling this turn you absolutely have to call his river bet.

Why? because you checked to induce a bluff and you got it: now call.

Given the history you described I'd call. Think his range is still pretty wide here.

his big bets make me wanna call, but it depends how good he is. he might know that we'll think this and be leveling.

How do you know he floated you? He may have had you beat and was betting for value. Obviously you didn't have that much if you folded each time. How many hands do you have on him?

Either way, as played, call the river but preferably raise the turn.

I strongly disagree with this.

If he bluffs 60% pot = 71$, we have to fold 37% of the time for him to break even.
If he bluffs 70% pot = 83$, we have to fold 41% of the time.
If he bluffs 80% pot = 95$, we have to fold 44% of the time.
If be bluffs pot, we have to fold 50% of the time.

Now tell me what bets you are more inclined to call. You are probably snapcalling 60-70% pot bets, and I think a 80% pot bet gets called substantially more than a potbet, so if I was a LAG I'd bluff pot here.

So if he's a good LAG, he's definitly betting pot here imho. If he's a bad LAG, he'd bluff less but he'd also valuebet less imho. I call.
