Default NL100: Trouble after isolating raise

Villain is at 24/6/2, I am at 14/12. I raise pre to punish the open limp, then raise the flop to see where I am. Should I have fired at the turn again? I am good on the river?

Hero calls and scoops pot from busted FD a good amount of the time, and occasionally loses pot to KQ that checked turn fearing AK? Just a hunch.

I agree with RapidEvo - it is a call.

I might bet again on the turn and charge the draw.

I use position to buy my showdown cheap on the turn. With K10 we are not overly happy that villain called our flop raise and thus are concerned we may not have the best hand. However, there is a chance villain is on a draw or has a stubborn weaker hand and for that reason I like to bet the turn. The turn bet is to usually secure a showdown but also for value. In this case the pot is $52 so I'd bet around $25-32 leaning towards the lower number if I'm sure villain won't think it's weak and be inclined to bluff raise. We then check any river that isn't a 10 (including this one since our kicker problem still hasn't been solved) If villain is really poor you could thin value bet I guess but remember the point of the turn bet of around $25-32 was that villain will check many hands to us on the river allowing us to take a free showdown rather than be forced to call the inevitable 2/3rd-full pot bet he'll usually make if we check the turn through.

Against most opponents I bet the turn for the reason given above. Against players that simply cannot resist mashing the pot button with ATC when hero checks this turn then I'll often check through and fist-pump-n-call any river that doesn't complete a very obvious draw. You'll be amazed how many villains actually bet hands like 1010 or A5 on this river seemingly oblivious to the fact that few/no better hands fold but all hands that beat them call in a flash.

I bet the turn.

I also call the river donk. I don't put villain on K/Q here too often because I think he would raise PF a decent amount of the time. It's an easy call for me.

Snap-call river. I'm not thrilled about isoing an early limper with KT offsuit unless he's a check-fold mega rock postflop. Still, it's better to do that with 68 suited than KT offsuit.

Thanks, plenty of good points in there. I folded and he showed me his AJ of spades. I should have bet the turn.
