Mike is exactly right. In the case of some credit cards it could take 2 months. Same with bank account transactions. Also let's say the guy wanting to trade with you was colluding in one way or another and gets detected the poker room could assume you were a part of the theft. This also goes for chip dumping.

Many of us have had great experiences trading. This was especially true for the P2P Neteller transfers. Most of the involved were known by each. I can't warn strongly enough the degree of risk involved in dealing with unknowns. I'm actually surprised there has not been more scamming.
