Default [NL100 SH] 22 - From Float to bluff

Hi,

PartyPoker $100 NL Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(6 handed)</font> HandRecorder v0.9b

Stacks &amp; Stats
CO ($99.50)
SB ($28.55)
BB ($118.01)
UTG ($160.58)
MP ($130.25) (20/17/4.66/21) (2776h)
Hero ($107)

Preflop: Hero is BU with 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, <font color="#FF0000">MP raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, Hero calls $4, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($9.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#FF0000">MP bets $6.50</font>, Hero calls $6.50.

Turn: ($22.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#FF0000">MP bets $16</font>, <font color="#FF0000">Hero raises to $40</font>, MP folds.

Final Pot: $78.50.

Villain seemed to be able to fold. I planned to float him. His bet seemed kinda weak. Is it ok to bluff here?

Ya i think so ... the only time he is calling when he has a K right ... you make your move and if he calls you give up ....

It's definitely reasonable to bluff this board and this player. You can conceivably have a king or even a five here and he will be very hard pressed to call without a boat having to fear another bet on the river.
The call on the flop is pretty standard, most of the time you will actually have the best hand.

Looks fine. Based on his stats he is probably double barreling a lot on this board.
