Hero bets $1.75, BTN raises to $5, Hero???

villian was 20/9/0.83 so his play here was pretty agressive i think. What do u do at this flop?

with a moderately wide range that includes the trouble hands you have good equity:

Hand 0: 55.965% 52.16% 03.80% 55257 4026.50 { QdQs }
Hand 1: 44.035% 40.23% 03.80% 42620 4026.50 { 88+, AQs-AJs, KJs+, QTs+, J9s+, T9s, AQo-AJo, KJo+, QTo+, J9o+, T9o }

if you give him what pokerstove says is the top 9% of hands you're doing better:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 59.592% 56.92% 02.67% 46772 2194.50 { QdQs }
Hand 1: 40.408% 37.74% 02.67% 31009 2194.50 { 88+, ATs+, KTs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo }

but, his aggression factor is low so that it's an aggressive play. what hands would he play like that? if you give him only AA-QQ, sets, nut straight and two pair, you're toast:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 36.771% 34.41% 02.36% 19417 1333.00 { QdQs }
Hand 1: 63.229% 60.87% 02.36% 34347 1333.00 { 99+, KQs, J9s+, T9s, KQo, J9o+, T9o }

you're getting 9.1:3.25 so around 3:1 to at least call. break even immediate pot odds for the straight draw are 4.75:1, but you also have outs to a set... but he may be holding some of your outs or you might not draw to a winner. but you could also be winning if he just has the unlikely top pair.

what i usually do here is call and revaluate, but then i usually crai on a brick turn and lose to a better hand haha. btw, i don't know what i'm doing with this pot odds stuff so if i messed up anything, i apologize, and please correct me.

..well yeh, call and re-evaluate turn is pretty standard.

button will slow down a lot of the time here. If turn bricks and you face a big bet, then I fold or crai depending on your reads on villian.

A lot of ppl told me to call and re-evaluate the turn.. but i ask what value do we get by calling here ? If a Q hits i dont think villian is calling here without a K or an 8 at least. If K or 8 hits im not gonna stack him either. dont u think its rather push or fold here? Perhaps im dead wrong here.. What are your opinions ?

pushing here will only get hands that beat you to call. It might be QK, might be JT or a set, but nothing you are +EV against and the pot is still relatively small.

Calling and re-evaluating on the turn is the best play.
