It won't be for long if you keep telling everyone on 2+2

(Actually I'm thinking of moving up, but I doubt I ever will).

Youll need some Ks to handle the swings for sure. Dont think for a second that youre safe with 5 racks at the 40-80.

How many racks would you estimate I need to be safe? 7? 8? I'm very interested because I'm thinking of moving up to this game myself.

8 is enough.

I had 9 yesterday. Only one of 'em was filled with chips, but 9 racks.

Woody Allen's got a great line in his new book. This woman had such a great rack on her it practically needed scaffolding.

I kept telling myself that about $9-18. LOL. Truthfully though, I'm still not used to the money amounts in play and tend to overestimate how tired I am about 5-6 hours into most of my sessions.

In my limited experience it seems like the 40 is on average a bit tougher than the 20. Maybe i sat in at bad times

In my limited experience, I think they are about the same. In fact, I found myself playing the same players at both games.

I think, unless you are an exceptional player, you should have at least 10 racks of a game if you want to play it a lot.

Good luck if you move up.
