Great effort by Detroit there at the end too bad they couldnt play like that the whole game might have been closer.

GG Anaheim(except the third period) not to hard to score on a goaltender though who lays on his back and stairs at the pretty lights. But you were the only team who could figure that out

This is sooo awesome. It's like 2003 all over again, but this time I'm not baffled as to how we got this far. I think the Ducks' offense is going to LOVE playing against Emery after getting Backstrom, Luongo, and Hasek the first 3 rounds. This series all comes down to how much the Ducks can slow down Ottawa's #1 line.

There's a lot ebb and flow to a hockey game. It's not like Detroit wasn't trying the first two periods, the Ducks were playing much better than they had the last two games. Then when they got up 3-0, 3-1, etc. they're naturally going to play more back on their heels.

As far as Hasek goes, Detroit did a much worse job than the Ducks of clearing second and third chances in front of their goalie, especially when the game was on the line. Would you rather have Manny Legace back in there?
Trust me if the Sens could trade Emery straight up for Hasek right now they would do it in a heartbeat.

As far as predictions go, I would think Ottawa is a serious dog to the Ducks, but anything can happen in a seven game series. They are maybe the third best team left in these playoffs. I'm not so sure they're better than the Sharks. The Western conference plays a much more mistake free, grind it out, fundementally defensive sound style of hockey.
