Are we really going to lose them both? Briere to Montreal would suck.

I'm scared to really think about it. Someone's going to offer both of them something ridiculous. I'll be Philly gets one of them.

...wish it was...I was sitting slumped over in my seat not beliving the horibly soft goal Miller gave up AFTER the 2 great saves he made earlier in the OT...

....play of the day was when the Sens player purposely knocked the net off its moorings.....vanek in front untouched would have picked Emery about there....

Not to nitpick, but it was Gaustad that would have had the shot.

And Stafford blew an empty net wraparound. They sealed their own fate. Miller was sensational. Miller and Max were the only two to show up.

Miller was sensational...still looked soft.....I havent had the chance to watch any replays yet...but I do recall him sliding it over to Gaustad on that play...

...and they never reshowed the Stafford shot at a good angle in the arena so again not sure how close that was...

...and Tallinder was terrible on the 2 on 1 goal by Sens...he wouldnt commit to passer or shooter which left Miller out to dry....ELIMINATE THE PASS AND LET MILLER MAKE THE SAVE FOR GOD SAKES

Someone on another board compared this to the Bills 2nd SB...I agree. We had the best team last year but it wasn't meant to be. This year a brilliant reg. season but were just not the best team. It sucks 'cause I think we were ahead of the curve last year with our style of play & the post-lockout rules - I would think it's only going to get harder in the future now that the whole league knows what's up. On the plus side Miller won me over this postseason & a young goaltender is the best cornerstone to a franchise you can have...has to be decent odds of winning a cup with him in net the next 10 years, right?

We are a young team with a young goaltender...so we will be contending for a while...should be able to make the playoffs no matter what happens in free agency....

...any thoughts on what there gonna do with all the changes looming
