Re: kobe wants out
[ QUOTE ]
Is Kobe's peronality that different from Jordan's? What do you expect from someone with that level of competitive drive? [/ QUOTE ] It's not different than how Jordan's was. Jordan finally learned that he couldn't do it all himself at some point though. He also knew to never say anything of substance to the media. That was huge. |

Article praising Lebron and ripping Kobe in todays Washington Post.
Sally Jenkins had an article in todays Washington Post praising Lebron and ripping Kobe (you may have to register to read article, it's free). Getting alot of play on the Dan Patrick show today.
From the openeing paragraph: [ QUOTE ] The ascent of James and the descent of Bryant was a fascinating subtext in the NBA playoffs last week, and it couldn't be more obvious why their careers are going in opposite directions. One guy holds his team together, while the other guy divides his. One guy builds his franchise up. The other guy -- make no mistake about it -- has torn his down. Bryant is now 28 years old, and he should hope to be LeBron James when he grows up. [/ QUOTE ] Then she gets mean . Whether you agree or not, thought you guys might be interested in seeing the article. |

Re: kobe wants out
[ QUOTE ]
even though kobe demanded a trade, they don't have to accept less than fair. if it comes to that, it would be pretty easy for Buss to open up the old checkbook and get KG. [/ QUOTE ] lakers in talks to get KG for bynum and odom called it!!! |

Re: kobe wants out
Don't know how accurate, but ESPN reports the 4 way talk is slowing down, and KG wants to go to Phoenix. KG talked to Kobe, but they say he still prefers Phoenix over LA. I will leave it to one particular Knick fan to figure out why that might be.
