- Has not given up a sack all year
- Has not been called for a penalty all year
- 3 different backs have run for over 100 yards in a game primarily behind him (well, I did know that)

[/ QUOTE ]

All great reasons I will be pissed when the Falcons don't draft him with their first pick next year.

[/ QUOTE ]
Please pick him Falcons so Vikings can get Brohm/Ryan/Woodson

[/ QUOTE ]

In that order?

If an OL got the heisman I think I would shed tears, it could be the greatest day ever.

If we don't it just means that someone different gets to get sacked 65 times next season.

I don't know how that article doesn't even even mention Orlando Pace, who was even more dominant than Long, and who generated the same kind of argument not too long ago. I think he ended up finishing 4th in the voting.

[/ QUOTE ]
How do you figure this? Granted the season isn't over, but is it really possible to be better than zero sacks, zero penalties, and being as good at run blocking as he is while still in college? He still hasn't allowed any sacks even when Mallett does his stupid dance around should-i-throw-it-away-or-should-i-take-a-sack dance that always ends in a sack. I know Pace was really, really good, but how do you figure he was even more dominant than someone who doesn't make mistakes?

I seem to remember hearing that Pace didn't allow a sack either. For his entire college career.

mmb,
Jake Long is probably a good pick, but I really like Brohm and Petrino obv wants him.

Vhawk,
I think it's Brohm, Woodson, Ryan and am basing this on very little

According to his Wikipedia article, "Pace did not allow a sack in his last two years at Ohio State."

Pace also played DT on short yardage plays, and "never making a mistake" is a clear judgment call.
