The flop bet is bad in retrospect. When I posted this I didn't realize he had 4-bet p/f. I was hoping to bully a fellow AK-type hand but he could 4-bet with QQ-AA and mabye JJ as well, making my donk a donkey move.

Fwiw I don't mind this, you guys are really putting way too much into the preflop cap it could mean anything this is a blind battle.

[/ QUOTE ] i prefer c/c, not because i necessarily thinks he has a monster, but because i don't see what it accomplishes. if he has a worse hand, he'll never fold. but he will always bet it himself if checked to, so there's really no difference between betting and checking. but if he does have a better hand, we are getting raised. |
