There are 3 other ppl in the pot with you, who is the maniac? Is it UTG? If so, I expect BB to be weak here and the maniac to call with anything, so raise it smallish to keep UTG in. I quite like $41 actually.

raise, i actually prefer 40ish with no flush out there in this spot and even with a few players

$45 go nuts and jam the turn if the fish calls. Check practically all turns if the other guy comes along. If he checks the turn and river obviously value bet around $65ish on the river.

raise, and if pushed on, well i will probably call. but there are those how can fold.

since he is so loss he could actually be holding anything. and the fact that he is a calling station as you mention about with the first hand you saw.
