I think there are merits to c/f on the flop.
You think he's going to bluff at you with AK on that flop?

Really, I think a good range is something like QQ TT AA and maybe AQ. This just doesn't seem like a bluff enough of the time to make it a profitable call.

folding KK on a non A flop after pumping in a bunch of money pf is pretty much bad imo

Do you think he's a solid player? Do you 4 bet alot? and is he willing to call 4bets light?

I mean, what do you think his calling range for 4 bets is preflop? Generally, I find that 4 bet CALLING ranges are pretty tight, and I dont' see lots of bluffing from the this player postflop. Seriously, if your gonna continue with the rest of this hand, you have to play for the rest of your stack.

edit: if you were 100 BB deep obv I would think differently.

I think the river is a pretty trivial fold. I don't think it's a bluff very often here and there's only one hand that might be in his vbet range that you beat.

I think villain has exactly TT here nearly always.

On paper I would bet this flop and fold to a raise. While playing I would bet this flop and probably get it in cuz sometimes I can't get away from anything.

But really I think you're only ahead of JJ ... I *grunched*, so why did you check the flop?

I see you checked flop cuz you chickened out ... it's a lot easier to play this hand when you bet flop, but you already knew that.

As asked earlier, is your title in reference to the Talking Heads?

I suppose AK is also somewhat likely. QQ and JJ are also possible but I think occur with significantly lower frequency. I think TT is the most likely of those hands to check the turn and bet the river. I think AA is rare because I don't think he bets the river with it very often.

Edit: QQ/AA/AK also 5bet pf a good amount allowing us to discount them further.

This is a heinous spot. Pot is so big it's pretty much terrible to fold, but assuming this guy's range is (TT+, AK)you're really not looking very good. And because the pot is so massive, even compared to stack sizes, there's no way to play for pot control.

I'm thinking there might be something to be said for CRAI on the flop. I hate that as well, but I hate all options on this board, and it at least gets some value possibly from JJ or AK...
