Depends on the player. [/ QUOTE ] That's my point. Telling the seers what to do doesn't help clear up any confusion. AT BEST, it avoids a few conflicting peeks, which rarely comes up. |

Re: Split Seer Lists
The seers should know what to do without a lot of busybody villagers AND WOLVES telling them what to do.
Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we just tell the wolves not to post any seer strategy, then we will know whatever is posted will definitely be in the best interests of the village!!! |

Re: Split Seer Lists
I'm for split seer lists. It doesn't make it easier to find seers, and it's actually easier to mistake someone for a seer and also to find seer hints. The problems come up when you think someone is splitting and also hiding their peeks based on it, but they didn't. Of course, problems arise when you're guessing at seer hints anyways, so it's not really affected or made worse by split lists IMHO.
I think for standard avg speed games, the seers should not be named, though. In general, if an avg speed Mod wants to have a theme, I would prefer if the theme names and so forth were only revealed at lynch time (not to the players in initial PM, not to the seers when peeking). In complex games, it's okay - often the seers aren't equivilant and the idea of a split list probably should be hashed out each game. I'd rather have something to spur conversation on day 1 than nothing at all, honestly. |
