LOL @ your high schools for actually having a kicker that kicked field goals and extra points. We just went for it on 4th down and went for 2 point conversions.

[/ QUOTE ]

especially considering the variance of having a kicker who can go from 30% expected success at the 29 to 80% at the 24.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you were paying attention to the thread, he was clearly 100% to make it from 29, so it 50% and 100%.

Theres so many variables into the differences of high school football teams across the counrty i dont see why this is strange or that funny

I was more or less being sarcastic. I figured everyone on this forum realized that 90% of my posts are ridiculous and that I am a moron and think I am far superior than everyone when it comes to football knowledge.

There's a reason I said it could vary greatly based on conditions and was hesitant to even try to put a number on it.

Of course, the best kickers, it won't matter, but sometimes it does. Tonight may have been one of those times. I also gave Vinatieri credit for that exact same kick from the 24 because that's about as bad as I've ever seen him kick. That same kick from 40 would've been so wide right it isn't even funny.

I can't win when I try, I can't win when I don't.

I've come to rely on this, calling it the "Needle Princip" but I think you have to give Needle's posting a solid B+

So if my posting wasn't graded on your curved scale it would actually be more like...an F? That is assuming you use the same curve that you use on the Colts special teams.

Not having done any research I'd say "Well Sublime says it's true so SHIPPPPPP IT!!"

Honestly, I asked you for a study, some numbers, hell give me a biased article, anything. You saying it means nothing (unless some guy is offering me 100k and I have nothing else to go on).

My favorite moment of every sports year has to this point been Roy Williams tearful press conference after his team underachieves (again) in the NCAA tournament. Henceforth, it shall probably be Edge's rationalizations before, during, immediately after, long after and eternally after the Colts lose in the playoffs...
