Re: weird 2,4 hand against fishy reg
I prefer a river bet/fold. As played I call river.

Re: weird 2,4 hand against fishy reg
The low river agression makes me lean towards a fold, but I can see a player like that possibly value-betting a paired Ace after a busted flush draw, perhaps having put you on a queen since you led out the paired turn. A block-bet of about $75 definitely seems like the right move here though...

Re: weird 2,4 hand against fishy reg
if 24/20 is tag, what is lag?? well yer not folding, so i dont even know what yer asking.. i guess u could bet fold cause they never river raise bluff at 2/4...

[/ QUOTE ] maybe hes lagatag then idk but i think as played this river is a fold to that bet i agree that he could be value betting worse but it wouldnt be that strong of a bet if he was regardless b/f looks like the best line to me bc i think he calls more when behind then vbetting worse... |

Re: weird 2,4 hand against fishy reg
thoughts on cc turn (value bet river if he checks back)? this was my first instinct when reading the hand, though obviously donking works too.

Re: weird 2,4 hand against fishy reg
definitely call the river as played
normally i dont like the idea of a blocking bet, but i think this is a pretty good spot for it. not too small though, theres definitely plenty of value for you to get here. might require making a tight fold with good pot odds, but thats ok. |
