I think this looks cool and will probably see it despite the fact that Portman is in it.

Commence flaming.

It is a phenomenal comic book by Alan Moore. Not as good as The Watchmen, but very good and very dark. I'm anticipating this one as well.

Alan Moore is not excited about it.

"Moore Slams V For Vendetta film, Pulls LoEG from DC Comics

May 23, 2005

Alan Moore, co-creator of the "V For Vendetta" comic, has publicly disassociated himself from the upcoming Warner Brothers movie project based on the comic book and written and produced by the Wachowski Brothers. And as a result, he has cut his remaining ties with DC Comics, including future volumes of the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen."

Moore has promised future "League" comics will be published by a US/UK collaboration between Top Shelf and Knockabout. "

Alan Moore belives in witchcraft and [censored]. The guy is [censored] crazy. He can be a good author, but I think he's a nut.

I am seriously avoiding all hearsay+reviews of this one, so I only read first post.

I also don't smoke pot much anymore, but I think I will make an exception so I KNOW this movie will be awesome (or at least the twizzlers will be)

Holla!

There are persistent rumors about Watchmen being turned into a movie. Anyone know anything?

This whole page has a lot of good info on Moore's dissatisfaction.

(Read from the bottom up)

I know there are persistent rumors (like seriously, Dave's not kidding, like 15 years worth of rumors). I haven't heard anything solid in a while though.

There's almost no way Watchmen ends up as a good movie. That said, I would love to see them try.
